The site is divided in the following sections: "Modern","Retro" and "Resources".
In the Modern page you'll find today's games, mostly to be played within your browser through Flash or Shockwave plugins, but some can also be downloaded and played off line on your computer.
The Retro section, instead, is dedicated to original retro games published long ago for the Commodore 64, the 8-bit home computer that made history in the 80ies, and which are nowadays freely distributed as freeware, public domain or abandonware. Besides these, this section also includes free fighting games with a retro feeling, like remakes of historical games made on several platforms (C64, Amiga, NES etc.).
I believe it'd be of great interest to check these games also for those who were not born yet when these games were developed since they will give an insight on what the "state of the art" in computer games at the time was and how they inspired several modern successes.
Last, the Resources page is a collection of selected and reviewed links to more games and interesting pages that are definitely worth a look.
We will add more free games as soon as we find them, so remember to come back often!
